Which HPE0-J82 Topics Are Most Difficult to Understand During Exam Preparation?

Hello everyone,

There is something that I have learned while studying for HPE0-J82 certification. Knowing storage technologies separately is not equal to being able to make architecture choices for real-world business. I am aware of the purpose of each technology, but comparing all of them taking into account various technical and business requirements simultaneously demands more time and thinking. Thus, for example, there is a situation where a business requires a storage solution with high performance, enough capacity, good scalability, and solid data protection capabilities without creating any excessive complexities and expenses in the infrastructure. It is quite difficult to understand what requirements should be prioritized and how some design choice may influence the whole environment.

Another thing that I would like to know better is the reasons for the decisions of storage sizing and performance planning. Knowledge of available storage technologies is great, but knowledge of the impact of workload parameters, business growth, availability, and recovery needs is no less important in designing a solution. This is what I have done by reviewing past HPE0-J82 exam questions and trying to understand the logic behind each answer. When I make a mistake while handling the scenario, I analyze my mistake to see what requirement I missed and what made the other solution not the best choice. To me, this seems to be much more helpful than trying to remember answers since different scenarios have the same technology but different business priorities. If you already have some experience with HPE storage architecture, how did you gain your confidence in this matter? Is it easier to practice architecture case studies, study the storage basics or design example solutions?

It would be great to get some feedback on this.
